Renovation for a

Milling Machine Facility

Hauppauge, New York

The renovation of this existing 20,000 sf industrial concrete block and steel truss structure to house a milling metal machine facility working with metals including Kovar and Invar required a new floor slab. This included removal of the existing concrete slab before providing a new concrete slab designed to support the weight of the milling machinery and sufficiently damped to prevent vibration and deflection. The existing envelop was adapted to support the mechanical, electrical and venting requirements of the processes.
