Jeddah Hilton Hotel & Complex

Master Plan

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

While the Hilton Hotel occupies the prominent corner of the site, vehicular access to both the Hotel and the Function Hall has been placed on the side road off the Corniche. This arrangement allows the perimeter of the site facing the Red Sea to be fully landscaped and act as a buffer between the grounds and its surroundings. Viewed as the symbolic representation of the Islamic faith and as the basis of the culture of this society, the Mosque is located at the pivotal location of the complex. The design of the complex allowed the construction to be phased in such a way that the finished portions could be operated immediately without the disruption of the guests.
